Why The Iraq Withdrawal Talk Is All Lies

Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates have been lying through their teeth about wanting to pull troops from Iraq. The whole discussion is a farce, and has always been a farce, basically designed to get votes. I have been saying for years that the American public was being lied to about U.S. intentions in Iraq. I have posted several times on this blog about permanent U.S. bases being built....with planning and construction that started as early as 2003 and 2004.

Now Bush & Co. has come out publicly about this issue for the first time, saying that the U.S. plans a long term "enduring" presence in Iraq. This, in fact, has been the plan all along. So why are the Presidential candidates from both sides carrying on with all of these lies? And why has the American media and the American public always assumed that the U.S. would pull out of Iraq anytime soon?

According to recent reports, the U.S. is now revealing that they want to occupy Iraq for the next 50 years, under a so-called South Korea model. (When there is no similarity between the two whatsoever...as I explained here.)

So why in the hell are we allowing the Presidential candidates, especially the Democrats, to feed us this utter bull---t about an Iraq pullout, when they know damn well they won't pull troops out of Iraq? The American public has been swallowing this nonsense...hook, line and sinker... just like they swallowed the nonsense that got the U.S. into Iraq in the first place. How ironic.
