Hillary BLACKENS UP Obama in Ad?

What is this, a repeat of Time Magazine & OJ?

From DailyKos

Hillary's ad: debate footage doctored to make Obama blacker

In case you needed yet another reason to despise Hillary Clinton and her vermin strategists, she's now running an ad blatantly lying about Obama's subcommittee. Her ad includes debate footage heavily doctored to make Obama blacker.

I guess this is the "fun part."

I saw the same report on Kos...

I don't know about this one. This falls more in line with a "conspiracy theory". And I do my best to avoid these.

But I am not surprised that Obama supporters are calling all kinds of things into question.

The beast brought it on herself.

Obama supporters have to watch every nuance...because Clinton and her campaign cannot be trusted.

As with the Muslim/Christian issue/non-issue, reporting stories of HC 'blackening up' Obama come dangerously close to crying wolf. In which case, legitimate instances of Hillary pulling fouls (lies about the Afghanistan hearings; among many others) can get casually dismissed a whole lot easier.

I get where y'all comin' from with trying to point out subtleties (possibly even nefarious on the Clintons' part). I mean, the chick IS known for sneaking shots below the belt. But if Barack's not trippin' about it, why should we?

I liken this to a hoop game. The fans in the stands think that every little touch or bump is a major infraction. Meanwhile the players shrug it off and go to work. At the end of the day, Kobe will still drop 40 on his defender. Likewise, Obama will still clean up at the polls.

Sometimes (though not in most cases), taking the high road is better for one's cause. Hill's plotting and scheming (if that is, in fact, what's she's been doing) will kill her from the inside out. It has up to this point.

I can't agree with you on your continued insistence that the religion issue is a non-issue....no big deal infraction by the Clinton Camp.

But we do agree on the issue of the darkened skin.

However, you mentioned:

if Barack's not "trippin'" about it, why should we?

This is because Obama is not in a position to be publicly outraged by it (it doesn't mean that he's not upset). He's trying to maintain a broad appeal so that he can have a shot at winning the nomination. He does not want to create the appearance of being an angry Black man or a cry baby for raising any of these issues (most of which are legitimate issues). Doing so could:
#1. Be a victory for Hillary, because that's what she wants him to do.... as a way to get him off message. and #2. It would not look Presidential.

Being a minority candidate, Obama has the unfair obligation to work even harder to maintain the high road in order to remain viable.

Therefore it is up to bloggers, reporters, radio people, etc... to tell the truth. I'm free to tell it like it is; i'm not running for any elected office.

Although I am hoping that in future debates, Obama is more aggressive at raising the issue of the dirty politics (while not going off message, and while somehow maintaining his appeal and his calm).

I'll buy that. Most likely Hill is relying on Barack to go postal over one, two, or fifty-eight of her lies and insinuations. Doing so would play right into her hands. No disagreement there.

This is a defining moment in the direction this country will take. I also look at this as a spiritual battle. Obama has shown a wonderful example of Christ-like behavior in taking the high road. It's been difficult to watch in a sense because I'd personally like to smack Clinton and all her supporters for their attacks, but it also goes to show how people are drawn to the light. I hope we can move in a positive direction after so much negativity, lies and corruption. I
