Chile Mine Rescue - Good News For a Change

Rare bit of good news in post- George W. Bush world. Nice reprieve from typical news coverage.

The Chilean mine affair only concerned the lives of the 30 trapped, the families and friends, which would ammount to 150 people. This incident had massive, massive amounts of global television tabloid attention and airtime.

Five months earlier, Chile had an earthquake that killed 500 people, which proparly affected at least 2500 people in total counting friends and family; let alone all the money it will cost to repair everything. This got not one second of media attention.
